Formerly known as Cub Scout Badge Day, WEBELOS BADGE DAY (WBD) is a fun filled day of hands-on learning! Throughout the course of day, Webelos participate in activities at the Colorado School of Mines to earn thier engineering badge. Activities include building your own flashlight, drawing a blueprint of your house, designing the farthest launching marshmallow catapault and mingling with CSM engineering students. It's enough to get anyone excited about engineering!
The next WBD will be on Saturday, November 14, 2009 in Brown Building (map). Is is held once in the spring and once in the fall.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED to help the Scouts work on projects and get excited about engineering. The time commitment is only 8-2, and lunch is included!
